We often times beat ourselves up because things don’t fall into place when we think it should. Nobody wants to work for shit these days. Well news flash, if you don’t work your ass off to get it, you’re better off working for the next person to help them grow their business. It makes you appreciate and take pride in what you’ve accomplished after the blood, sweat and tears. The failures, and the naysayers should be your motivation. Don’t beat yourself up when the pieces fall apart and you find yourself scrapping what you’ve started, all to just start over again. Work hard, be motivated and kick ass..Yea, I know it’s easier said than done. But do more and say less and allow your hard work to speak for itself.
Rushing progress can sometimes backfire in your face. We rush into working so feverishly and expect all of the chains to connect only to find out the links weren’t put together well enough. And after your hard rushed work, no one notices it. We all yarn for growth. We are all eager to take the next step forward to reach that certain goal or success level. Nothing happens over night, and trust, this is a true statement. I would love to take the short cut to success or to reach a personal goal, but I can’t. There are no short cuts for me to take. So I try to prioritize my time and work diligently to accomplish my goals towards success. I don’t mind taking the stairs up, so long as I make it to the top. And after my walk up I can ride the elevator back down.
The beauty of writing is a way of freedom. It allows you to be who ever you choose to be at any giving time. Writing releases your inner thoughts and ideas. Your most wildest imagination can be unleashed from it’s untamed state. Writing is like magic, the words appear without boundaries, rules, or a wrong or right way to display the unique thoughts. Writing is endless.
“If I waited for perfection, I would never write a word.” -Margaret Atwood
My writing is not perfect by far, but it is pretty damn good. My writing style has an audience, just like millions of other authors out there. There is no wrong way to write anymore. Write how you see fit. More than likely, you will develop a fan base who adores the way you write. Even if there is only a handful who like your work, that’s enough to make you continue writing. Never change up your style of writing if its working for you. Be yourself, write how you choose.

I’m an author and no one can take that title away from me. I may not be on the level of a well known author just yet, but an author is an author. It wouldn’t matter if I wrote a novel or a paragraph, if I wrote it, damn it, I’m the author of it…I own it, its my words, my thoughts, my work. A wise man once said (not really..hee hee) no matter what, if you write a little or a lot, you’re the author of that piece of work. No author can throw shade at the other, its the same shit, just a different toilet. Their no more than an author than you are. The only difference is a well known, established author have a lot of fans and make a lot more money. So what if you’re a broke down and out author who haven’t sold not one book, get writers block, and have lost yo mojo, …the bottom line is, YOU ARE AN AUTHOR! It only takes one book to put you on the write track(get it? write track..hee hee) to give you motivation to continue writing regardless of what others think about your writing. There is no wrong or write (I did it again…hee hee) way of being an author. You can be whatever kinda writer you choose to be as an author. If you want to write a book about toe jam and ass crack, guess what, you’re still an author. Yep that’s write, (and again hee hee) there is always a chance to better yourself as an author. If you feel the need to improve, then improve. If you like your style of writing as an author…then damn it, keep it up! Once an author, always an author, remember, no one can take that away from you…Yep, that’s right…I said it. KLP
