Love Me Dangerously

Books, books, and more books! Writing for me is therapeutic and it’s a great stress reliever. But I also write because I have a passion for it. Although I may not be a known author, it does not stop me from writing and sharing what I write with people who enjoy my work.  I’m always writing and I challenge myself to become a better writer with each new book I dive into. With that being said, here is a snippet from a novel that I hope to have completed by Spring 2017. Love Me Dangerously….

The room was dark as matter with only the moonlight peering in between the grooves of the wooden ceiling causing an illumination from the florescent glow of the moon. A floating mixture of dust streamlined through the streaks of light floating abundantly in the rooms’ atmosphere. The strong scent of bleach and musk caused my sunken stomach to turn violently. Lying partially on my side underneath my petite frame, I could feel the touch of the cold, hard, dirt floor grinding against my damp frigid skin. The left side of my face rested slightly in the grimy dirt. The taste of blood thrust the surface of my tongue. My back flirted with unnerving agonizing pain near the c three vertebrae, making it damn near impossible to move my neck. The pain so extreme, I felt broken from head to toe.

Snippet!! SexRender!!

Rex wondrous brown eyes followed my sway as I frolicked to my seat. I placed my left leg delicately over my right, crossing them comfortably as I reached for my laptop. Rex manicured hands twisted the cap off the water bottle. “Nice hands.” I complimented.

Rex glanced down at his hands as if they’re not his own. “Oh, thanks.” Rex Blushed.

A man with hands that’s as nice as a female is too gentle in bed.

The songs slowed even more. We grew closer. Too close. I couldn’t deny this now. I had to own up to the moment. His eyes slowly shuffled to mine. We lost ourselves in each others stance. His alluring grey eyes summonsed  me. Our lips inched closer as the gaze grew more intense. All movement ceased, except for our lips. They touched, never leaving each other. The kiss intensified. Drunken saliva swirled around as our tongues tangoed.

“Why blather?” A smirk chimed across his lips. “Time will tell if you can breathe without my touch Ales.” I wanted to smack the dimple that rested in his chin.

“I’m breathing now aren’t I?” My long slender legs moved slowly across the shiny marble floor towards the door. I reached out for the brass handle and twist it counter clock wise, and flung open the door, “You may leave Channing.” His chiseled jaw line flinched, as his eyes narrowed. I could smell the arrogance through his pores.

“Well, I’ll take his number. But I can’t guarantee when or if I’ll contact him.” I said while wrinkling up my nose.

Joann said, “Damn Isis, do you have to frown up that way? Richard is a nice looking man. He has money, he’s smart, successful, nicely sculptured,  and he has good ass hair and pretty green eyes. Oh, did I mention he has money?”

My damn head felt like a fright train rolled over it and was thrown into reverse, rolling over it again. I had to do better than this shit. This was so beneath me to find myself hogging down the toilet releasing my insides. It felt like I uprooted my soul from throwing up so rigorously.

My chest felt like it was on fire. I never experienced a hangover associated with heartburn. I was lucky that both ends weren’t running like a pair of snagged pantyhose. By the time my glory days were over with my toilet bowl, I had to make like a dog on all fours and muster my way back to my bed. The bedroom felt like it was across the street, the closer I got, the further it seemed.

Foolish At Forty Coming soon to Amazon.com.

The kiss was so intense; I thought…wow…is this kiss going to lead to something else? My heart raced, as my temperature rose from excitement. He embraced me with such tenderness. I thought for sure this was going to be the moment. I was willing to let him take me…but he stopped.
