Keep your eyes on the prize, but don’t do anything foolish to get it. Eagerness and foolishness equals self destruction.
Rushing progress can sometimes backfire in your face. We rush into working so feverishly and expect all of the chains to connect only to find out the links weren’t put together well enough. And after your hard rushed work, no one notices it. We all yarn for growth. We are all eager to take the next step forward to reach that certain goal or success level. Nothing happens over night, and trust, this is a true statement. I would love to take the short cut to success or to reach a personal goal, but I can’t. There are no short cuts for me to take. So I try to prioritize my time and work diligently to accomplish my goals towards success. I don’t mind taking the stairs up, so long as I make it to the top. And after my walk up I can ride the elevator back down.
Set realistic goals for yourself without placing limits on ways to achieve them. Don’t push yourself to the point you feel defeated while attempting to reach the very goals you set for yourself. Remain focused.
Often times people think of what they would like to do instead of having a vision. Don’t just think about it, be about it, have a vision for it. Visualize yourself starting the path in becoming successful. Success begin with ideas, goals, and ambition. You have to want it, you have to be hungry for it. You have to work your ass off to make it to the top of the pyramid. It won’t be an easy journey, but once you succeed, you’ll be able to reap the benefits from working hard to get to where you are. Just know that you will have to continue to work hard to stay where you are.
Often times, some who succeed fail to realize that in order to maintain success, you have to find ways to stay relevant. You don’t want to become a one hit wonder, you want to stay consistent and persistent in staying successful. Always visualize yourself doing more than you had before. Once one goal is met, continue to the next. You are the only one who can assure your success. There may be help along the way, but it’s ultimately up to you to have that drive in wanting to stay successful. Work hard and it will pay off. Have a vision for success
I often find myself sitting in a quite place with a cloud of words hanging in my thoughts. My imagination will soon help release those words as I form a thought process to release them into a paragraph. I constantly write down the words onto paper as they come to me a little at a time. I find myself enjoying the flow of every word, the paragraph turns into a page, the pages into a chapter, and the chapters into a book. I am a writer…
Do you have what it takes? Prove it.
You only have to prove it to yourself. Don’t wait for approval from others. Others are not hungry for the things you’re hungry for, so in most cases they can care less what you’re going through to make it to where you’re going.
Nothing comes easy that’s worth gaining. How bad do you want it? Becoming successful is challenging. How many success stories have you heard that happened almost instantly? None. Most success stories you hear are filled with failure and hard work. Just because something isn’t working in your favor today, doesn’t mean that it won’t happen for you tomorrow or even a year from now. Being persistent and consistent will be your key in becoming successful. Never give up on something that you feel so strongly about.
