It’s called writers block, not writers stop

Hey guys! I know its been a bit since I’ve last posted on my blog, so here I am!

It’s called writers block not writers stop. If you’re not in the mood to write in your book..don’t. And if you don’t feel up to writing in it for a day or two, that’s fine. But don’t wait weeks after you’ve written your last chapter and feel the need to rush back into it just so you can gain progression. If you force it, you’ll only be wasting your time. Your thought process will be different. You’ll go from sounding like Diana Silva, to Dr Seuss. Unless you’re writing a children’s book, we don’t want to read the elementary words. No, we don’t want green eggs and ham.

Don’t prolong writing your book. Don’t just stop writing and rush back into it after you’ve neglected it for months. Writers block gets to the best of us, but never get writers stop.

I’m author Kassie Leigh Perkins, and I approve this message.
