Grit and Deception

While Jake and I went back and forth, the yacht was on a steady move. Before I realized it, Ryan and Yelena eased off towards the top of the yacht to get out of the crossfire. Just as they done at the sushi bar.

Jake said, “Oh, so you think I ran from my car…all the way up that long ass boat dock, damn near broke my neck, to jump and catch this damn yacht to see you? Girl please, don’t flatter yourself.”

I almost laughed when he said that. I guess he called himself telling me.

“I don’t know why you did it, but I wish you hadn’t!” I hissed.
